i want to be single ... why ?

THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY SOMEONE WANTS TO BE SINGLE ... MOST OF THEM ARE GENERAL AND OTHERS HAVE FAMILY TIES OR SOME OTHER PHYSIOLOGICAL REASONS. ANYWAYS, I AM SINGLE RIGHT NOW SO I CAN IN FACT LIST SOME OF THE REASONS WHY SOMEONE MAY WANT TO BE SINGLE.


Let first say these are strictly my opinions, if you wish to share yours or disagree with mine, i am completely ok with that. And also these are in no specific order and are based on relationships and situations of my close friends and myself.
  
REASONS:

1. He/she probably just got out of a relationship. They want a break to be wild and think. 
2. He/she is afraid of a commitment. Afraid of the unknown, they dont want to fall in love because they aren't sure what will happen after that.
3. He/she thinks everyone is below their standard and they prefer to wait for the right one to come around than lower there standards.
4. He/she  is in a long distance relationship and can't stand it. 
5. He/she feels the need to focus on them selves, because the last relationship was draining (sucked all the life and freedom out of them. They seem to feel like they lost themselves along that path).
6. He/she maybe be a player. (wants to experiment the world before choosing one O.o, never fall for that excuse because they'll never come around and if they do, it'll be far too late!)   
7. He/she maybe promisous and relationship with one person doesn't satisfy them 
8. In college and the variety and mass of the sexes seem overwhelming and they can seem to choose. (this is the position i'm in ahah )
9. How could i forget, they are broken hearted and is already finding it hard to get over their last relationship.
10. Still in love with someone they know they cant have. Waiting patiently, hoping the one they are in love with will turn around and realize that they made a mistake, so they're preserving themselves until that moment. ( Umm my comment on this, life isn't a fairy-tale for all of us, this happens for 5 % out of the 100% of us. But as i said before my opinion, your decision).
11. Relationships never worked out for their friends, or family so why should they want to be anything but single. It seems to be working out fine so far. (i think everyone should test the waters, so to speak before making judgement. Not everything that works for Tom is gonna work of Jerry.) 

Technology makes studying hard !

Studying for me is the hardest thing ever, since technology became so dominant and everything in terms of my school study notes, assignments and homework is needed to be done online !
 This is a problem to me because i am a social network addict, there is no way that i am going to only study, knowing i have access to the internet. I cant seem to resist that one notification from Facebook, playing games on Yearbook, expressing my feeling on Tagged, Twitter and Blogger about how long and hard i have to study for a subject that's not even going to help in my career choice. Also to go on and on about how its all very too much for me, instead of actually studying ahahah.
 Forget having a boyfriend, this is the biggest distraction ever.
Now, don't get me wrong i blame no one but myself for my weakness to internet, but this doesn't change anything I've said, technology does make it hard for me to study. And i know for a fact that am not the only one facing this problem.
I'm surprised, not many websites have articles written on this issue, only a few, its mind bottling to me. Well not really but i do think its an important issue many of u ignore please bloggers, author and journalist please shine some light on this topic. when you do please give advice and ways to reduce my addiction or correct the incorrect way of which i weigh my opportunity cost of school and play.

Let me make one thing clear, I am not saying this is the only issue, I am just saying its one of the dominant ones that alot of us including myself get caught up in.

i am a Jamaican

Yes, i am a Jamaican. Born December 12 1991 in Jamaica and now attending the University of the West Indies located in Jamaica. I am happy to say i have a few accomplishments up my sleeves that i will share in my other blogs if needed. Anyways I've just realized that i have a thing for blogging. I've always been one, not afraid to express my views and  not afraid to talk pure non sense and smile at the end of every sentence, hoping to get a smile back lol.

Mhmm so what to expect? well as a Jamaican blogger only thing i can promise you is to give you a good update about the weather here =) ahahah, maybe also about the food, parties and the beautiful hotels i visit. Nothing about politics though =/. Everything else will be general and random. I think it would be wise to highlight that ill be 20 as of December 12 2011 so my blog my be amateur so to speak, but i can promise you will see growth. 

I only tell one out of many everything

Out of my 15 best girl friends i am only really close with one, whom i share my entire troubled world with. Many would say that's odd, or sad but to me its normal and no i don't have 15 different personalities ahahah. Its just that there are people in life that you trust completely, but will never ever be completely willing to share the entire scope of your life with, even if they do the same with you.

And yes i have 15 best girlfriends =) lucky me.
